The Curtis Loew Band is the Southeast's premier Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute
band. The music is taken from the "Live" albums to give the band that distinct sound of the original band playing live.
Over 40 Skynyrd songs done live.
Ed King says " I've heard some so called tributes, but you guys are the closest"
Jimmie Van Zant (1) says " close your eyes and you can hear the original band"
Everyone else just says " WOW".
An Ex-band member and Ronnie's first cousin thinks they are as close to the real band as you can get. If that is
what they think, just imagine what you will think when "The Curtis Loew Band" is opening up their three guitar attack.
(1) Jimmie Van Zant nor his management, Breakout Management, neither endorse the band, nor care for the way "Curtis Loew"
is being used as a name for a band. This statement however was made to me by Jimmy Van Zant after he came to a show in Biloxi,
MS., asked to sing with the band, and then sang 5 songs on stage with the band, then signed autographs back stage for the
band. This statement was made to me personally by Jimmie Van Zant. We have every respect for Jimmie Van Zant, his cousins
and family and the band Lynyrd Skynyrd. No one from the family or band have publicly endorsed the Curtis Loew Band.
